Microsoft Certified Professional The MCP credential is for professionals who have the skills to successfully implement a Microsoft product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization. Network+ is a CompTIA vendor neutral certification that measures the technical knowledge of networking professionals. Those certified have a minimum of 24 months experience in the IT services industry. Earning the Network+ certification means that the candidate possesses the knowledge needed to configure and operate a variety of networking products. Those holding the A+ certification have a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.
